The 6th annual Antietam Open Golf Tournament took place on Sunday October 4, 2009 at the Green Hills Golf Course, home of the Antietam Mounts golf team.  A field of 80 players (20 teams) enjoyed a perfect weather day for golf.  The winning team of Carl Sottosanti, Brad Ehlert, Charles Paris, and Jeff Trojanoski shot a 61 to win by one stroke over the team of Scott Bansner, Joe Alcaro, and Ken Keefer.  Following golf, all players went to the Spartaco Club for food, fun, awards, and an auction with many gifts.  The tournament was created by Skip Behney, Mike Farrara, Brian Lee, and Walt Hummel to raise funds to support the boys and girls athletic programs at the Antietam High School.
