• Registrations, entry fees, and team photo are due to the 4500 DVC committee.
• Registration form (download form on bottom of page)
• $50 per team - maximum of 5 students per team.
• Open to all Berks County students in grades 9-12.

• In 2006 - 24 teams with 130 students from 10 Berks County Schools participated.
• In 2007 - 35 teams with 165 students from 14 Berks County Schools participated.

• Film Making Conference at the GoggleWorks.
• 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
• Learn techniques, tips, tricks, and more from the professional guest speakers.

• Donuts will be supplied for breakfast.
• Catered lunch will be available at the GoggleWorks.

• Genre selection, character name, prop, dialogue, and rules.
2:00 pm 1. All groups will pick two genres (below) from a container
and select one

  • Do not film anything you wouldn’t hand in for a school project. Videotape safely!
• No copyright music or video clips wil be allowed without written permission.
• Useable free music for download and additional information is available below.
• Your teachers can also help you obtain free music for your films.
• All videos will be screened, those deemed unacceptable will not be judged or shown.
• No Guns may be used in the 2007 finished videos

  • Do you have what it takes to write, film, and edit an original short video?
• Download storyboard blanks45810 • per page.
• The problem - You only have 4500 Minutes, or 75 Hours, 3 Days to create it?
• From 3 pm Thursday to 6 pm on Sunday.
• This is your chance to bring out your creativity and showcase your work.
• Gather your friends, 1-5 students per team in grades 9-12.
• Your original finished video must be between 2 and 5 minutes in length, not including title/credits.

April 15, 2007
  • Completed videos are due back on a cued up MiniDV tape.
• Between 5:00 and 6:00 pm at the GoggleWorks Cafe.
• Any video turned in late (after 6:00) will not be eligible for judging, but will be on the DVD.
• Mr. Michael Farrara (Wyomissing HS) and Mrs. Patty Spleen (Twin Valley HS) will collect the films and prepare them for the judges.
     
April 16-28, 2007
  • Completed Movies will be judged on April 19 at the Peanut Bar with 14 judges (non teachers).
• Awards: TBA.
• DVD's will be created, burned, and printed.
• T-shirts will be printed.

  • Completed movies will be shown in the GoggleWorks Theater and Room 238.
Doors open at 8:30 am

• Each team member will get:
